How do I send files from my phone to my computer?

Open the Local Share web app on your phone and computer at share.webinvade.rs on the same Wi‑Fi or LAN. When the other device appears, tap it and pick files. No USB cable or account needed.

Do files go through the cloud?

No. Files go device to device over WebRTC when a peer connection is available. The signaling server only helps devices find each other — it is not a cloud file archive.

Web app vs Chrome extension — which do I need?

Use the web app on your phone to receive files, install as a PWA, and share from other apps. Add the Chrome extension on your PC to send tab links, clipboard, and files from a side panel while browsing. Both join the same room.

Do I need an account?

No. Local Share works in the browser without an account. Settings stay on your device — browser storage for the web app, Chrome local storage for the extension.

Use the Local Share web app on your phone. On your PC, open the Chrome extension side panel or the web app in the browser.

Join the same room

Devices on the same Wi‑Fi or LAN join automatically. Across networks, enter the same room code or open the invite link from the web app.

Send peer-to-peer

Phone: receive files, drag-and-drop, or share from other apps via Android Share. PC: send the current tab link, clipboard, context-menu selections, or files — device to device over WebRTC.
